2018 Cabernet Franc $33
This Cabernet Franc opens up straight from the first pour with a deluge of bright fruits, cola berries leading the charge, followed by blueberries and fresh cherries. The first thing that you'll notice about this wine on your palate is its true-to-its-roots bright, vibrant acidity that gracefully and deftly carries the wine across your tongue. This elegance is very reminiscent of the variety's roots in Bourguiel and Saumur in the Loire Valley of France. Subtle notes of anise, clove, and graphite linger with the lasting, generous finish of those tannins, providing a beautiful, Paso Robles take on a traditional, French style of Cab Franc production.

A pleasant, medium bodied tannin carries this wine to a long gentle finish accented by a touch of toasted caramel.
